To ask the Secretary of State for Health what funding was given to the London ambulance service in the last 12 months. [118924]

§ Mr. Hutton
The total income for the London Ambulance Services (LAS) in 2001–02, the latest year for which figures are available, is £135,775,000. The LAS received most of its income from the provision of services to health authorities, primary care groups and National Health Service trusts.
