Further to the Written Answer by the Lord Hunt of Kings Health on 11 December 2002 (WA 45), in which section of the Food Safety Act 1990 the exemption in relation to the supply of water to any premises appears. [HL3259]

Sections 55(1) and 56(1) of the Food Safety Act 1990 disapply the provisions in Part. II of the Act and subordinate legislation made under it (such as the Food Labelling Regulations 1996) in relation to the supply of water to any premises.
