§ Mr. CaplinThe Department is working closely with the French Comite du Debarquement, in association with the Normandy Veterans Association, to develop a full programme of commemorations in France. The programme is still in the early stages of preparation. When it has been finalised, suitable representation at senior officer level will be made available.
