§ Ms Rosie WintertonThe Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (CAFCASS) recorded 609 unallocated cases in public law nationally on 31 December 2002 and 651 unallocated on the 30 March 2003.
In private law the figures were 1,248 and 1,243 respectively. CAFCASS does not keep data on the time taken to complete reports.
