To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what the defence policy of the UK is in relation to the maintenance of minimum nuclear deterrent against aggressors. [115752]

The United Kingdoms nuclear weapons policy was set out in the Strategic Defence Review published in 1998. I refer my hon. Friend to Chapter Four and Supporting Essay Five in particular. Copies of the SDR are available in the Library of the House.
