§ Hilary BennThe Department for International Development is supporting the National AIDS Council in Burundi through the International Partnership against AIDS in Africa (IPAA), with a contribution for Burundi of £4.15 million over the three years to March 2005. Burundi has been successful in obtaining significant resources for Anti-Retroviral Treatment (ART) from the Global Fund (to which DFID has contributed $200 million) and the World bank.
