Whether they have intervened in the decision of the Parole Board to release the Lord Archer of Weston-Super-Mare on licence at the half-way point of his sentence. [HL3227]

The press reports that Ministers or John Gieve or Martin Narey or other senior officials had sought to influence the Parole Board's decision on Lord Archer's application for parole are wholly unfounded.
