§ Yvette CooperSection 10 of the European Parliament (Representation) Act 2003 (EPR) requires the Electoral Commission to make a recommendation to the Lord Chancellor before 1 September 2003 as to the electoral region to be combined with Gibraltar. Section 11 of the EPR Act enables the Lord Chancellor to specify the region by order, and he would expect to do so shortly after receiving the recommendation from the Electoral Commission.
