§ Hilary BennDFID provided direct funding for two education projects in Kenya in 2002–03; the Education for Empowerment project, and the Strengthening Primary Education project (Phase 3). DFID also provides funding for education through multilateral572W channels, but information on this is not available centrally and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
