Since 2001, the East Lancashire Partnership has been allocated £13 million ERDF for its transition areas for business support activity. The Pendle Partnership has also been allocated £2.6 million ERDF for its community development programme. 3 Pendle will also benefit from a proportion of the Housing Market Renewal Fund. This is a long-term project that will identify ways to tackle problems of housing low demand and abandonment in East Lancashire.
