To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many people there were in Northern Ireland in each of the last 12 months for which figures are available, broken down by country of origin. [114596]

Monthly estimates of the population of Northern Ireland broken down by country of origin are not produced. Quarterly figures from the Labour Force Survey relating to country of birth can only be made available at an aggregate level (i.e. constituent countries of the UK, Republic of Ireland and other (as a single category)). The most comprehensive figures available are those from the 2001 Census which are noted in the table.
