The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister was involved in the drafting of the consultation documentLiberalising Trade in Services and it will be fully involved in formulating the Government's response in areas of relevant policy interest.

The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister has received a number of representations from local authorities on this matter. The points raised will be fully considered in preparing the Government's response to the consultation.
