HL Deb 28 January 2003 vol 643 c144WA
Lord Laird

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What plans they have to move the railway artefacts currently sited at the Foyle Valley Railway Museum to a secure vandal-proof location. [HL1117]

Lord Williams of Mostyn

The artefacts held in Foyle Valley Railway Museum are owned by Derry City Council and North West of Ireland Railway Society (NWIRS). The building is council property.

Although the museum remains closed, I understand that the council considers that adequate precautions have been taken to secure the building and its contents.
