§ Clare ShortThe international community provided approximately $1.8 billion to Afghanistan in 2002. DFID's contribution is over £55 million in the 2002–03 financial year so far.
Donor's contributions for 2003 have yet to be finalised, although there are indications that it will be broadly similar to last year.
