To ask the Deputy Prime Minister what percentage of bills to his Department since May 2002 were paid(a) in accordance with agreed contractual conditions and (b) within 30 days of receiving goods and services or the presentation of a valid invoice where no contractual conditions applied. [91611]

The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister only pays invoices which are valid and in accordance with contract conditions 96.88 per cent. of valid invoices were paid within 30 days, this is the latest figure available for the period up to 30 November 2002.
