§ Mr. WilsonThe Government do not have information on the total current and future energy requirement of cement kilns. However, estimates from the British Cement Association suggest that in the short term (3–5 years) the potential use of waste in cement kilns, by a range of products, could he around 1–1½ million tonnes per year.
