To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what plans she has to improve(a) availability of, (b) access to, and (c) use of community transport for children travelling to sports facilities and events; and if she will make a statement. [90002]

As part of the PE, Schools Sports and Club links Project, DCMS are liaising with colleagues from the Department for Education and Skills and the Department for Transport to address the transport problems that arise from school children needing to travel to sporting venues after school hours.
