§ Malcolm WicksPoverty is a complex multi-dimensional problem. The fourth "Opportunity for all" report (Cm 5598) sets out our strategy for tackling poverty and social exclusion and presents the latest information on the indicators used to monitor progress against our strategy. Specifically on child poverty, last April we launched "Measuring child poverty: a consultation document". We will be in a position to publish preliminary conclusions from the consultation by this spring.
