§ Mr. Sayeed
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs whether her Department has undertaken a life cycle analysis to compare the environmental impact of re-usable nappies and disposable nappies. [88709]

§ Mr. Meacher
The Environment Agency is currently carrying out a life cycle analysis comparing the environmental impact of both types of nappies.
It is expected that the work will be completed in the spring of this year.
