As the title of the survey suggests, it is based on the opinions of staff rather than objectively recorded data. The 2002 staff survey showed that there were still staff at all grades working above their conditioned hours. There was however a small reduction of 2.6 per cent, in those working between five and eight hours compared with 2001.
