§ Mr. JamiesonThe information requested on the use of laptop computers in each year since 1995 is not available centrally or in the form requested, and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
Since the establishment of the Department for Transport on 29 May 2002, there has been one reported case of a lost laptop computer, at a cost of £1,011. Friend the Member for Southampton, Test (Dr. Whitehead) on 29 January 2002, Official Report, Volume 379, columns 182–84W, to the right hon. and learned Member for North-East Fife (Mr. Campbell).
