To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what the average increase in council tax precept for police authorities in England and Wales for 2003–04 is, expressed as a percentage of 2002–03 levels. [98779]

This information is not yet available. Police Authorities have until 1 March to set their budgets and precept levels for 2003/04 and until 8 March to report this to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
