To ask the Secretary of State for Health what plans he has for the building of a teenage cancer trust ward in Southend-on-Sea or the surrounding area. [96868]

Mr. Lammy

The South Essex Cancer Network and Southend Hospital National Heath Service Trust have no plans at the present time to build a teenage cancer trust ward in Southend-on-Sea or the surrounding area.
