§ Yvette CooperThe introduction of Identity Cards is a long-term undertaking upon which the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister is in discussion with the Home Office. However, as the scheme is still being developed it is too early to assess the implications for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
