Mr. Austin Mitchell

To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Department for Constitutional Affairs what steps he is taking to ensure that British data protection requirements apply to customer information used by call centres outside this country operated by(a) UK banks and (b) other UK financial institutions. [144890]
