Baroness Amos

There are two ombudsmen in Northern Ireland—the Assembly Ombudsman for Northern Ireland and the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Complaints (also known as the Northern Ireland Ombudsman) and the Office of the Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland. The total gross expenditure of their two offices for 2002–03 was £1,077,000 and £6,859,000 respectively.
