To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what recent discussions he had with(a) the Scottish Executive, (b) Network Rail and (c) others regarding lift facilities at Haymarket railway station in Edinburgh. [142619]

Subject to the availability of funding, the SRA is considering how best to prioritise a programme of works to meet the accessibility requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act and will he consulting on draft criteria next year. Stations that have high usage, such as Haymarket, are likely to be given priority.
