It is for local National Health Service organisations to decide how best to use the available resources made through general and capital allocations to meet the national priorities.
Funding to support the delivery of these priorities will grow over the next three years, from £61.3 billion in 2003–04 to £67.4 billion in 2004–05 and £74.4 billion in 2005–06.
