§ Beverley HughesFive representations about trustee indemnity insurance have been received from charities responding to the Strategy Unit Report, "Private Action, Public Benefit: A Review of Charities and the Wider Not-for-Profit Sector" although the issue of indemnity insurance was not raised in the report.
This is also a matter for the Charity Commission as the Government Department responsible for the regulation of charities in England and Wales. The Commission's Director of Policy will write to my hon. Friend and a copy of her reply will be placed in the Library.
