To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills what help was given to local education authorities in Somerset for the capital cost of replacing classrooms in each of the last three years. [107321]

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills how much money has been allocated for capital expenditure in Selby in North Yorkshire in each year since 1996 through(a) the New Deal for Schools and (b) the local authority capital allocation; and if he will make a statement. [107038]

The Department allocates capital funding to local education authorities (LEAs) and their schools and not to individual towns or constituencies. Capital funding for North Yorkshire LEA is set out in the following table:
