To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions how much council tax benefit was paid in 2001–02 in(a) England, (b) Wales and (c) Scotland; and if he will make a statement. [104761]

Council tax benefit helps people with low incomes to pay their council tax whether they are in or out of work.
