§ Mr. WilsonThe Department of Trade and Industry has not received any representations on this specific issue. However, it has recently published a White Paper "Managing the Nuclear Legacy: A Strategy for Action" which sets out plans to drive forward the clean up of the civil nuclear legacy safely, securely, cost effectively and in ways which protect the environment for current and 197W future generations. The White Paper seeks views on a range of issues, including those related to clean up costs. Copies are available from the Libraries of the House.
