§ Mr. LammyThere were three major priorities set for the National Health Service in the 2002–03 Planning and Priorities Framework. They were
delivering emergency services when and where they are needed;reducing waiting times and delays throughout the system; and improving quality of service and outcomes in clinical priority areas of cancer, heart disease, mental health and services for older people.
