§ Clare ShortResolution of the refugee problem in Azerbaijan is ultimately dependent on a political settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh dispute with Armenia, which would permit resettlement of those displaced by the conflict.
My Department is currently funding a number of activities in Azerbaijan which seek to encourage greater responsibility from the private sector in ensuring that the benefits of their activities are widely shared.
