To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when(a) a Minister and (b) an official within his Department last visited Pitcairn Island. [77685]

No Minister has visited Pitcairn recently. An FCO official accompanied the Governor on a visit to the island in 1995.

§ Mike O'Brien
The Governor of Pitcairn is due to visit Pitcairn in November. The previous Governor visited the island in September 2000. The previous Deputy Governor spent six weeks on the island in November/ December 2001.
