To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) what evidence was presented by Customs and Excise officials to the Bank of England on 19 September 1988 that Manuel Noriega had been using the Bank of Credit and Commerce International to launder money; [74516]

(2) if he will disclose the names of those officials attending a working lunch on 19 September 1988 between Customs and Excise and Treasury officials; and if he will make a statement. [74517]
