To ask the President of the Council if he will make statement on his plans for the presentation of evidence in the Welsh language to select committees. [81519]

Select Committees may take oral evidence in the Welsh language. Written evidence must be submitted in the English language, though it is understood that the Welsh Affairs Committee frequently receives memoranda prepared in both languages.
