Israel/Palestinian Authority— 31 October 2001, 17–19 December 2001, 5–7 February 2002Germany— 29 January 2002France— 30 January 2002Egypt— 4–5 February 2002Jordan— stopover on 5 February 2002Lord Levy undertook all these visits in his capacity as the Prime Minister's envoy, to exchange views on the middle east peace process
