To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what progress his Department is making towards implementation of the Sexual Offences (Protected Material) Act 1997. [77275]

§ Hilary Benn
During the passage of the Regulatory Reform Bill, Ministers announced their intention to use a Regulatory Reform Order to amend the Act, to facilitate its implementation. Officials within the Home Office are currently considering practical proposals to bring about an amendment to the legislation.
