However, the Employers Pension Provision Survey 2000, the fourth in a series commissioned by the Department for Work and Pensions, examined different types of pension arrangements in the private sector. The survey includes information on the proportion of employers who contribute to employees' personal pensions, who provide access to group personal pensions and the contribution rates that such employers make.
