HL Deb 07 November 2002 vol 640 c163WA
Lord Faulkner of Worcester

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What progress has been made with the drafting of the National Policing Plan; what discussions have been held with the voluntary sector about its content; and to what extent will road safety and traffic policing issues be reflected in the final documents. [HL6317]

Lord Falconer of Thoroton:

My right honourable friend the Home Secretary will lay the National Policing Plan before Parliament before the end of November. The National Policing Forum advises the Home Secretary on the National Policing Plan and its membership includes a representative of a victim support organisation and two other members of voluntary organisations. The contribution of policing to road safety will be reflected in the plan.
