§ Mr. WilsonThe Department gives full and frank advice to UK companies involved in the(a) extraction and (b) trading of Sudanese oil based on the current security situation in Sudan. We have no ongoing campaign promoting investment in the Sudanese oil industry, nor do we have any policy to halt commercial interests.
