§ The Prime MinisterDiscussions between policy advisers in 10 Downing Street and Ministers and civil servants in other Departments are conducted in accordance with theMinisterial Code, the Civil Service Code and the Code of Conduct for Special Advisers.
Policy advisers do not have powers of direction.
