To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what meetings she has had since the Budget with representatives of the North sea oil industry in north-east Scotland to discuss the impact of the new oil and gas tax. [58123]

I have regular contact with businesses involved in the UK continental shelf oil and gas industry and have received views from a number of them on the tax measures announced by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer in his Budget statement.
