asked Her Majesty's Government:

In respect of each substantial damages awards dealt with by the Court of Protection or the Public Guardianship Office since 24 May 2001:

  1. (a) what proportion was invested in equities;
  2. (b) when was the date of the investment;
  3. (c) what was the value of the investment at that date;
  4. (d) what is the current value; and
  5. (e) what is the net real rate of return on the investment. [HL4225]

It is not possible to provide this information without a file by file investigation of the Public Guardianship Office's records. This could only be done at disproportionate cost.
