§ Baroness Symons of Vernham DeanTalks under the Brussels Process are continuing. The Minister for Europe met his Spanish counterpart in London on 9 May. They had a friendly and constructive meeting, though substantial difficulties remain. We remain committed to reaching an agreement if possible. The Foreign Secretary will meet the Spanish Foreign Minister next week to discuss Gibraltar among other issues.
