§ Dr. HowellsIn respect of the DCMS's Vote 1 budget, I refer my right hon. Friend to the answer I gave to the right hon. and learned Member for North-East Fife on 14 January 2002. In respect of Vote 2, which relates to the BBC licence fee, for which the Department has responsibility to Parliament for balancing the grant voted to the BBC with the receipts received from the licence payers, there were no losses due to fraud or corruption in the years in question.
