HC Deb 08 May 2002 vol 385 c254W
Dr. Fox

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what role his Department envisages for the Riding for the Disabled Association in the rehabilitative treatment of children with musculo-skeletal disorders. [47020]

Jacqui Smith

The decision on what treatment to offer an individual patient is one for the clinicians involved in the case. They are responsible for deciding the best treatment for the patient. Doctors are required to exercise their clinical judgment, in consultation with the patient and informed by a patient's medical history.
