To ask the Secretary of State for Health what action he is taking to promote the use of laser therapy to assist smoking cessation. [52787]

This Government are committed to promoting effective interventions that are proven to help people stop smoking. At present we are not aware of robust scientific evidence which shows that laser therapy helps people to quit.
