To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he plans to announce the recruitment of further GP appraisers. [53230]

Primary care trusts (PCTs) are responsible for ensuring they have sufficient appraisers to implement general practitioners (GPs) appraisals. Most PCTs have put forward between three and 10 GPs. We are pleased with the progress being made.
